Information You Submit
Search Terms
A name, place, or other detail entered into a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. Howard County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy governs its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or submit a contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Cookies
Cookies may help measure visits and understand how people move through the site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking them can change how some site or partner features work.

Websites and Advertising Partners
Links may lead to Howard County release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and independent search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms control its data practices.
Some advertising partners may use their own technology to track activity across websites and tailor advertisements. That tracking occurs on their systems, not on a Howard County Released Inmates system.

We do not sell personal information. Data may still be handled by limited parties that support or lawfully oversee site activity.
- Search providers that process submitted queries
- Analytics services that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Practices and Limits
We use standard measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. No website, network, or storage system connected to the internet can be guaranteed breach-proof. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
Visitors Under Eighteen
